On Thursday, March 24th, The Diane Rehm Show discussed the new cap and trade program that EPA established for reducing mercury emissions from power plants. You can listen to this show at The Diane Rehm Show based out of Washington, DC at American University.

I’ve been playing around with these models and working on integrating the vegetation compartment to look at green roofs. For those interested in environmental fate, they are quite useful. Now you can see what sort of contaminants could be in the fish you eat thanks to the Canadian Environmental Modelling Centre.

EPA - OAR - Clean Air Rules of 2004 - provides information on the air rules that have come out in the past year and includes the two most recent rulings, the mercury rule and the clean air interstate rule.
